Pewter cufflinks created by a time served craftsman and presented in a box with matching design. Decorated with a design of the national emblem of Scotland- her thistle. The legend behind the pride of the thistle begins with a surprise attack by the invading King Haakon of Norway. Intent on taking the Scots Clansmen unawares his army landed on the Coast of Largs at night and crept up on the slumbering Scots barefoot.
