Purchased as part of a full kilt outfit. As you can see for yourselves from the photo these hose are substantial ! beautifully crafted and great to wear with the brogues. get a shoe 1 size larger than normal to accommodate them. Mine are the green ones !

I received my order of Tartan Flashes and handmade Aran Kilt Hose in good order. Although it seemed like the order took forever to finally arrive I was swept off my feet with the handmade hose. They are stupendous. They are obviously handmade as slight differences can be discerned, but the workmanship, the abundance of design detail, and the fit are excellant. No machine could produce this tangible link to history. There is even a handwritten card that has the name of the lady that wove the hose and the name of the town in which she lives.
I might be tempted to encase these works of art, but I shall wear them proudly at this year's Highland Festival and other such events.

As part of my Kit I needed hose for my size 20 inch calf muscles (I think the're muscles) and again after checking colors available I have now a lifetime supplier for my hose.

I had to order more hose in the color of Forest Green, and again a perfect fit to my 20 inch clafs.
The measurements were sent for my exact measurement and at a great price I bought 2 x 1/2 dozen pairs of hose of Forest Green and Navy. I am the envy of my band.
