'Thistle' (7" Plush Mini Red Squirrel)

Red squirrels are endangered with about 160,000 left in Britain. They are solitary, and spend most of the time high up in the trees where they live. Their ball-shaped nests are called dreys, made with twigs and sticks. Red squirrels eat tree seeds, fungi, flowers and berries. They are small with turty ears, and their babies are called kittens. Did you know that red squirrels swim and that they do not hibernate? They are also either right-handed or left-handed!
