The fashion kilt is made using authentic kilt-style pleating to look very similar to a traditional kilt, but using 100% Cotton. It looks fabulous with either a semi-dress or full dress sporran and suits anything from an aran sweater to a jacobite shirt and indeed a dress shirt and bow tie. This lighter garment is designed to sit comfortably on the hips (unlike a traditional 8 yard kilt which sits slightly above the hips) and comes with fully corrective straps. Choice of length comes down to how much knee you wish to show, but midway on the knee is probably about right.
