Although the photo I sent probably doesn't do it justice, I hope you can see how happy I am with my Balmoral tartan scarf. What beautiful fabric! The reds, blues, and greens are at the same time brilliant and subtle. The lightweight wool is perfect for a warmer climate. I should be able to wear it year round.
My maiden name is McBain. While I am not one to "toot my horn" about my family background, it will be fun to sport a hint of membership in this ancient family with their interesting history... which I will share with whoever pays me a compliment on my lovely scarf. I'm sure there will be many!
