The kilt making kit consists of the following components, a choice of black, blue, green and maroon colored linings, canvas interfacing to go inside the lining. The kit includes a complete pattern for making an 8 yard kilt. There is a book called "The Art of Kilt making" which is designed to take you through the process step by step. You get 3.7 m of double width tartan material which you can select by clicking the "choose your tartan" button. The last part of the kit is the leather straps and buckles which are of an excellent quality.
The pattern book also includes instructions for making a Prince Charlie Jacket and Vest; a Knitted Vest; a long Ladies' Kilted Skirt; and Argyle Socks.
